Kazan comes from 'older' style DDR lines on the sire side, and Czech lines on the dam's side. He is large, solid traditional Czech/DDR built with a massive block head, and extreme physical ability. At 11 years old, Kazan is extremely agile, physically strong, and absolutely healthy without any autoimmune issues such as allergies, skin issues, and or pannus.

Kazan excelled in guard, or patrol work, especially any scent/nose work. He was ideally suited for man trailing and private security work. His prey drive is medium and defense drive is high.

Kazan is the grand-sire of SG Jarnsaxa vom Gorka, AD, WB, BH-VT, and he was successfully used in our kennel program producing 9 litters in his lifetime. I have tracked the health of his progeny, and I am proud to say that he truly produced healthy puppies.

***Kazan will be used for the last time this year, at 11 years old, with my female Kara. This pairing will produce sables and pure black puppies with excellent bone structure, very good hips and elbows, clear spines, and very good autoimmune health. This breeding will take place this summer and puppies from this pairing will be suitable for many sporting venues, in particular SAR, Scent Detection, Tracking, and or Mantrailing.
